I don't usually write reviews unless I'm extremely happy (or unhappy) with someone's work. In the case of Bear Island I can unequivocally say we are delighted with Sergio's work. This is the 4th time that we have had our house painted in our 23 years. He and his assistant, Ricardo, attended to every detail. They sanded, primed, painted and made repairs on areas of the house i hadn't even noticed. No leaf was left unturned and it's fair to say Sergio addressed issues that other painters/contractors have chosen to ignore. Sergio was also helpful in choosing paint colors, making several really good recommendations. Sergio and Ricardo worked over a three week period in probably the hottest days of our summer yet were always good-humored. Every request was met with a can-do, patient response. I have no doubt this paint job will hold up better than any others. Sergio is the Leonardo of house painters.
